What advanced driving courses usually cover
Advanced driving courses usually concentrate on car control, such as braking, cornering and recovering from a skid, and are often held on a race track or closed circuit.
How Low Risk Driving is different
Low Risk Driving doesn’t teach car-control drills. It helps experienced drivers understand how their decisions and driving habits influence risk, and how to respond cautiously to hazards and other road users. They practise managing the space around their vehicle, looking further ahead and recognising situations that call for more caution before a crash is about to happen.

Delivered at your workplace
Training runs at your site and on the roads around it, across Melbourne and regional Victoria, and elsewhere in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. There’s no race track, skid pan or specialist venue. Our office is in Carrum Downs, Victoria, but it isn’t a training venue.
Who it suits
Experienced professional drivers in organisations, including drivers who have already done an advanced or defensive driving course. We don’t provide training for learner or provisional (L or P plate) drivers. The programme is not suitable for remedial training of individuals or recidivist offenders.
